We have carefully scrubbed and polished public records from the Chicago Police Department that detail reported crime incidents within one-half mile of 300 North State Street.

While the CPD public database limits you to 100 records, representing no more than two weeks at a time, here we just limit you to one month of data. Our records go back to October 1, 2009 and we will continually add new data as it becomes available.

We believe our database is faster and easier to use. But make no mistake – when it comes to fighting crime, CPD is much better than us.
